Venice Surf-A-Thon founder and Executive Producer and Director Ger-I Lewis unexpectedly retired from the Executive Director and producer of Venice Surf-A-Thon Surf Contest after 28 straight years. However the neighborhood folks decided to hold the 28th Annual venice Surf-A-Thon Surf Contest. Well a group of Venice folks decided the ‘Thon must go on! Yes they have his blessing and he is stoked saying, “Words really cannot express the love and gratitude I have for you folks! Thank you!” Ger-I intends to give the Venice Surf-A-Thon to the Venice Community to continue the contest in perpetuity. Details to be announced.
